Animals (Wildlife) (Domestic)

Like insects there are many species of wildlife that can cause humans to get the Jitters and want prompt, professional service.  From the things that go bump in the night, to critters underground and out of sight.  Just go to the phone and dial that tone and the Critter Ridders will rescue you alright.

Most species of wildlife do some sort of destruction to your home or yards in their process of intrusion.  Most property owners will ask why are they here, or why is this happening to me and not the neighbors.  The answer is the same on almost every single intrusion.  Your property has provided at least one of 3 essential things for survival, (shelter).  The 3 essential things are Food, Water and Shelter.  Many times all 3 of these factors are available within your property lines.  Water is usually the easiest of all 3 to find.   Sewers are everywhere, bad gutters holding water and bird baths or that pretty goldfish pond out back.  If not in your yard, then usually just next door.  Food is always abundant if dogs are near by.  Roof rats or ground rats are satisfied with dog food or dog droppings.  One is just as good as  the other to a rat.   Like rats, raccoons will simply slide down in the street sewer and wait for some disposal food to come floating by.  That's not their 1st choice but it is a good standby when the big dumpsters are running a little scarce on throw away food.  Larger animals like raccoons will travel further distances for food than squirrels, rats, voles or moles.   So when small animals like squirrels, find an abundant food source like a tree full of acorns or pecans.  Then that's where that animal wants to setup housekeeping.  If there's not enough tree's to provide livable living quarters for the winter, then they start checking out your home for any building faults.  If they are not successful, then they will just simply chew a baseball size hole for their front door to their new home.  YOURS!
